Science Camp & Outdoor School
Camps are a great way for our students to grow in independence, experience being away from the family and learn about environmental science and history in an experiential and hands-on way. Guides and assistants accompany the trips, along with limited parent chaperones. Locations are staffed by specialists and camp locations and themes vary each year.
Here are some recent programs we have partnered with:
Columbia River Maritime Museum
Fort Clatsop
OMSI Camp Hancock
Catalina Islands Environmental Leadership Program
Nature Bridge - Olympic National Park
“Our family has found so much value in being part of the Cascadia community! The teachers are accessible and very in tune with the kids and their development while providing the resources for exceptional learning.”

Camps during school holidays and summer vacation
Cascadia holds camps for several weeks during the summer months for students from ages 6-11. A list of camp offerings and fees are available from the office in the spring. Previous camps have included baking, sports, coding, and cooking.
Depending on instructor availability and timing of the winter and spring breaks, camps may also be held at these times. Occasional weekend evening activity camps hosted by staff give Cascadia parents the chance for a night out or a night off while children engage in crafts, games, and activities.
